Insight Rehab is a mobile speech pathology practice in Sydney, experienced in communication, cognitive, and swallowing rehabilitation following traumatic brain injury and other neurological conditions.

We work extensively with adolescents and adults with traumatic brain injury, from concussion through to disorders of consciousness (including minimally conscious state).
We also provide services to people with other neurological conditions, including:

Services
Insight Rehab provides tailored speech pathology services to support communication, cognition, and swallowing following neurological injury or illness. Services are delivered in real-world environments, with a focus on meaningful, functional outcomes.
We are based on Sydney’s Lower North Shore and provide mobile services across the Sydney metropolitan area.

Assessment and Therapy
We provide flexible, client-centred therapy in homes, workplaces, schools, and via telehealth across Australia.
Key areas of practice include:
– Return to work and study support
– Cognitive-communication rehabilitation
– Structured conversation skills training, informed by latest research.
– Motor speech and voice intervention, including LSVT LOUD®/eLOUD® and the SPEAK OUT!® Therapy Program.
– Dysphagia assessment and management, including sEMG biofeedback (e.g. BiSSkApp).

Group Programs
Small-group programs target language, social communication, and communication partner strategies, with a focus on real-world participation.
Programs are evidence-informed and guided by established clinical frameworks. Groups are formed based on client needs and availability to ensure participants are well matched.
Groups may also be available for people with Parkinson’s who have completed LSVT LOUD®/eLOUD or the SPEAK OUT!® Therapy Program.

Supervision for Professionals
Insight Rehab offers clinical supervision and mentorship to speech pathologists and other professionals supporting clients with complex cognitive-communication needs, with a focus on traumatic brain injury.
Individual and group supervision is available to support clinical reasoning, intervention planning, and delivery of evidence-informed care.

Certified Practising Speech Pathologist
Jason is a compassionate clinician focused on helping clients regain independence and reconnect with daily life following serious injury or illness. He values collaboration with families, support workers, and professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes.
With over 16 years of experience, Jason has worked in leading brain injury rehabilitation services across Melbourne, Sydney, and regional NSW, including the Epworth Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit and Royal Rehab’s Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service.
He has presented at national and international conferences and published clinical research on cognitive-communication disorders and service development in traumatic brain injury rehabilitation. Jason remains actively involved in research and service innovation.
Jason is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia and is a member of the Australasian Society for the Study of Brain Impairment.
